Welcome to the Latin American Spring Festival 2026!
Join us at the Queen Elizabeth Youth Centre, Tauranga, on Saturday 19 September 2026 for one of the Bay of Plenty’s most vibrant cultural celebrations.
Experience the colours, rhythms, flavours and traditions of Latin America through a full day of live music, dance performances, authentic cuisine, cultural displays and family-friendly entertainment.
Representing cultures from across Latin America, the festival brings together communities, artists and visitors to celebrate diversity, connection and the arrival of spring.
Whether you're discovering Latin American culture for the first time or reconnecting with your roots, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Children under 16 years of age receive free admission when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
The daytime programme is family-friendly, with attendees under 18 welcome until 8:00pm. From 8:00pm onwards, the event transitions to an adult-oriented evening programme.
Most of the festival takes place indoors, allowing visitors to enjoy the event regardless of weather conditions.
Artist line-up and programme details will be announced closer to the event date.
Important to Know
Food & Drinks
Please do not bring outside food, beverages or alcohol into the venue. A wide variety of food vendors, refreshments and licensed bar facilities will be available on site.
Footwear
Stiletto or spiked heels are not permitted as they may damage the venue flooring. Comfortable footwear suitable for dancing is recommended.
