This year, we celebrate the 23rd edition of the Latin America & Spain Film Festival (LASFF) in New Zealand! LASFF is a non-profit cultural event that celebrates the richness of Spanish and Latin American cultures, bringing them closer to New Zealanders through the cinema.
Across 10 cities nationwide, the festival presents eight captivating films, each one selected by one of the participating Embassies — Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Peru, and Spain. Every film offers a different production that connects to its country.
All screenings are FREE entry, with English audio or subtitles, thanks to the generous sponsors who make this cultural experience possible for everyone.
In Christchurch, the screening has the important support of Viva la Vida Events and Projects and the University of Canterbury.
