Join us for a class on late summer foraging on Saturday, August 23rd at 10 AM in Hamden, CT. This class will be co-taught by arborist and owner of eattheplanet.org Joe Ross and CT Foraging Club founder Amy Demers. Participants will learn how to identify and utilize edible and medicinal plants and mushrooms that can be found this time of year.
Class will consist of a 45 minute lecture where you will learn how to differentiate edible plant and mushroom species from any toxic look alikes. We will then go on a 45 minute walk where we will practice plant and mushroom ID.
This class will be $30 per person. To reserve a spot, email [email protected] with the full name of all participants. You will be sent out an email the day before the class with further details on meet up location.
We will run the class rain or shine.
