Join us for a relaxing evening of crafts in Trull, Taunton. There are four workshops for you to choose from and you can choose two of them. Workshops are all 1 hour each. Groups are small and places are limited so make sure you book early to get your first choice of session. When you book please remember to choose two tickets per person, one for each workshop - Workshop 1 and Workshop 2.
Your ticket price - £32 - includes all your materials and equipment, expert instruction during two 1 hour workshops, booking fees, hot drinks and a few nibbles to keep you going! You can also book a yummy pizza from Sara's Kitchen to be delivered hot to the venue between the two workshops at 7.30pm.
The workshops are:
Willow Angels with Amanda Webb - Create a lasting festive decoration from Somerset willow with Amanda's step by step guidance. A beautiful natural mini sculpture to add to your tree or mantle.
Beaded Decorations with Jean Sheppard - Dive into a beautiful array of colourful beads to create your unique beaded decoration or jewellery - choose from snowflake, angel, snowman or make a necklace and earrings. The perfect gift to give a friend - make one to keep and one to give.
Festive Centrepiece with Alex Churchley - Join the assistant florist at Yalham Hayes to learn the fundamentals of wreath making when creating a centrepiece for your festive table. this design will be a flatlay and allow space in the centre for a candle or decoration.
Embossed Copper Decoration with Alex Williams - Come and learn how to create hand-embossed tin and copper hanging decorations to adorn your tree, hang around your home or to make into a festive garland. We will be using a mixture of new and recycled materials to create beautiful patterned decorations loosely based on traditional Mexican folk art. Feel free to come with your own ideas but template shapes, lots of inspiration and test pieces will be provided along with guidance from Alex throughout so you don't need to be confident in drawing to create something you'll be proud of!
