A social evening of crafts, expert tuition, conversation and laughter. Treat yourself to a creative break, learn a new skill and take home two beautiful handmade items to treasure.
There are four workshops for you to choose from and you can choose two of them. Workshops are all 1 hour each. Groups are small and places are limited so make sure you book early to get your first choice of session. When you book please remember to choose two tickets per person, one for each workshop - Workshop 1 and Workshop 2.
Your ticket price - £32 - includes all your materials and equipment, expert instruction during two 1 hour workshops, booking fees, hot drinks and a few nibbles to keep you going! You can also book a yummy pizza from Sara's Kitchen to be delivered hot to the venue between the two workshops at 7.30pm.
The workshops are:
Little Houses - Design your own miniature winter house ready for the festive season. The perfect object to give as a gift or keep to bring out year after year. Your house will be totally personal to you and there are plenty of materials to choose from.
Resin Jewellery - Use UV resin, mica powder, glitter and metal leaf to create fun and festive Christmas tree earrings (necklace or keyring options available too). After assembly and curing your creations are ready to wear right away! She uses stainless steel earring findings, so your pieces not only look awesome but are built to last and are hypoallergenic. No experience needed – it's beginner-friendly and all equipment and materials are included.
Needlefelted Reindeer - Learn how to needlefelt and make a cute decoration that will last year to year. Deb and Clare provide all the needle felting materials and equipment necessary, and give step by step support to help you make a mini Rudolph to add to your Christmas decorations. (Newbies and returners welcome!)
Fabric Lino Print - Drawing inspiration from flora and fauna, you will produce a simple lino cut that can be block printed to create a beautiful and sustainable piece of fabric gift wrap.
