We’ll start by investigating real fossils from the collection of the Alabama Department of Archives and History and diving into a reading of Fossils Tell Stories by Yu-ri Kim. Young paleontologists will then team up for an interactive artifact-sorting challenge. Finally, everyone will build their own shaker screen craft—a must-have tool for sifting through soil to uncover hidden treasures.
