Join the Centennial Institute for our upcoming Last Lecture event with Dr. Mark Mayfield, CCU Assistant Professor of Counseling.
Dr. Mark Mayfield will explore the hidden epidemic of loneliness in a hyper-connected world. Drawing on personal stories, biblical insights, and his mental health journey, Dr. Mayfield will challenge students to move beyond emotional illiteracy and curated personas toward an honest and healing community. He will show how to name an individual’s pain, reject isolation, and courageously pursue wholeness, emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. More than a lecture, this is a call to become someone others feel safe around and to live lives that are a refuge from darkness.
