OUR LAST WEEKLY TUESDAY DANCE WILL BE ON JUNE 9!
7-8 Dance Lesson with Jake Wood! Focus on technique and fundamentals, paired with new patterns. Anyone comfortable with swing-out timing is welcome!
8-10 DJ'd Swing Dance with DJ RaggMOP

Parking: limited parking in church lot; unlimited metered street parking (free after 5 on Elm Street)
Please use the SIDE ENTRANCE on the RIGHT. Head down the stairs to the undercroft "Trinity Room" and swing your heart out.
Why "Swing 48"? The event address, of course, but also the Django Reinhardt tune, the 4:4 time of Swing music and 8-count basic of Lindy Hop, and the year 1948 (when swing was still king, but transitioning). We also pay homage to the former Swing 46 jazz club in NYC, which closed its doors at the end of 2025.
[Please note: there will be NO DANCE on nights when the National Weather Service predicts temps of 15 or below for Northampton, as the space is used for emergency shelter)].
