Last contra-with Flurry Festival caller Bob Isaacs, Kevin Musick & Down to Clown!

We are delighted to welcome Flurry caller Bob Isaacs calling with Kevin Musick (Flurry President, the Albany Contra Dance organizer, and avid contra dancer). They will bring great movement to the tunes of Down to Clown: a high-energy contra dance and folk band founded by fiddler/composer Anna Bosnick and accordionist/multi-instrumentalist Anton Guryev. The duo blends traditional New England and Eastern Canadian styles with Celtic and improvisational flair. Check them out here!
This is our last dance of the season before we return in October.
Please bring snacks or beverages to share at break!
Doors open at 7 pm
The Beginners' lesson at 7:15 is strongly encouraged for new dancers!!
Dance 7:30 -10:30 pm
Sliding scale admission $15-$20, or $7-$10 for students
Come with a friend, a group or come solo -- experienced or not, all are welcome! Contra is aerobic, so wear layers and expect to warm up!
