This is the MA STATE required course to apply for a License to Carry a Concealed weapon.This is NOT the BASIC HUNTER SAFETY COURSE that is required for a hunting license!!!
The 4 hour course will consist of:
Firearms Safety Rules
MA Law-Transportation of Firearms
MA Law-Security at Home
MA Law-Firearms Control and Safety
MA Law-Legal Issues
Basic fundamentals of shooting to include:
Stance
Draw
Grip
Sight picture
Trigger Press
Loading/Unloading techniques
Additional information pertinent to Concealed Carry Concepts
After meeting the requirements of this class, YOUR NAME will appear on the Basic Firearms Safety Certificate which you must present to your local police department when applying for your LTC.
