Call for Artists working in fine art, high craft for the Arts & Crafts traditions: Applications for the Roycroft Emerging Artists Program are open through April 17, 2026.
The Roycroft Emerging program is a mentoring program designed to give those who are exhibiting a high quality of work opportunities within the movement and to see if a path to juried status exists, and highlight areas where specific improvement could be cultivated in order to pursue membership. It is not necessary to be working in the “Arts & Crafts” traditions to be considered.
Four artists are chosen each year as Roycroft Emerging Artists. Cohorts receive individual assistance, support including a partially subsidized booth fee for the annual Roycroft Summer Festival, feedback and critique from established Roycroft Masters and professional portfolio review and development.
Applicants showing a cohesive style and observable emerging language are selected by jury under the direction of Tami Fuller, Emerging Artists jury chair and Executive Director of the Roycrofters at Large Association. Special consideration is given to artists showing attention to detail, fine application of technique and grasp of fit and finish practices.
Applications for this year’s cohort are accepted until midnight on April 17, 2026 at www.ralaweb.com.

The 2026 Roycroft Summer Festival will be held in East Aurora on Saturday, June 27 and Sunday June 28, 2026, from 10 a.m until 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Classic Rink, located at 41 Riley Street in the Village of East Aurora.
The Classic Rink is an open air roofed venue that provides protection from elements and ensures a comfortable experience for attendees that includes ample parking. The Roycroft Summer Festival is a national level exhibition drawing artists and exhibitors from across the United States and is a WNY fixture, offering the highest quality exhibition of High Craft and Fine Art in the Arts & Crafts and companion traditions for nearly 50 years. With the festival centrally located in the village, patrons can park once and take advantage of everything East Aurora has to offer, including Main Street shops and restaurants.
Visitors to the Festival will experience fine art in wood, metal, fabric, jewelry, clay, glass, book arts, prints, drawing, painting, and photography. The work is created by fine artists and craftspeople, many of whom have gone through a rigorous jurying process. Roycrofters at Large Artisans have earned the right to use the “double R” mark of the Roycroft Renaissance and represent the very strongest in quality workmanship and design.
In addition to Juried Roycroft Artisans and Masters, the festival also includes a select pool of juried "Non-Roycroft" artists. Artists who wish to reserve a booth as part of this group of exhibitors can submit an application through midnight on April 9, 2026 at https://www.ralaweb.com/our-shows
