Winchester Dondero Cultural Center and the Las Vegas Jazz Society present The Jazz Arts Community Ensemble! This is a big band project that is intended to promote inclusivity, diversity and musical growth by performing the music of locally-based and internationally-known composers and arrangers.
In addition to the professional players, the group consists of high school and college students, teachers, retired musicians, hobbyists and others who wish to learn and refine their musical skills. Members of the ensemble range in age from 16 to 90 and come from many cultural backgrounds and experiences, coming together to play popular tunes.
