Join us for Las Reinas de Baile, a one-of-a-kind dance experience created to highlight and celebrate the incredible female instructors helping shape our community. While this event proudly shines a spotlight on women in dance, ALL classes and events are open to everyone. This weekend is about recognizing the priceless knowledge, creativity, passion, and artistry that female leaders bring to our scene — and creating a space for growth, connection, inspiration, and empowerment for all dancers.
Hosted by Brittany Ward of Morada Dance Movement (Edmonton) and Lucy Pei of Mambo Productions (Calgary), this unforgettable weekend will feature:
✨ Over 12 hours of workshops
✨ World-class training in multiple styles and aspects of dance
✨ Incredible local instructors from across Alberta
✨ A welcoming and supportive environment focused on growth and community
✨ Performances, social dancing, and unforgettable energy all weekend long

In addition to our international headliners, we will also be featuring many talented local instructors and artists whose names will be released in the coming weeks. We are incredibly excited to showcase the amazing women helping elevate and inspire our local dance communities.
💜 GIVING BACK 💜
One of the most meaningful parts of this event is that proceeds (after costs) will be donated to a local women’s shelter. This weekend is about women supporting women, uplifting our community, and using dance as a way to create connection and positive impact.
✨ SATURDAY NIGHT SOCIAL ✨
Our Saturday evening social will be a celebration of music, movement, and community featuring:
• A social dance lesson
• Performances by many local dance schools
• A special performance by Amneris Martinez
• Social dancing late into the night
• Three incredible DJs from Edmonton and Calgary bringing the best energy all night long
Whether you are coming to train, connect, perform, social dance, or simply be inspired, Las Reinas de Baile is a weekend designed to leave you feeling empowered, motivated, and connected to an incredible community of dancers.
