In a sonic explosion of Afro-Mexican rhythms, electronic beats, and powerful rhymes, Las Cafeteras take folk music to the future. Born and raised east of the LA River, Las Cafeteras are remixing roots music as modern day troubadours. From Afro-Mexican to Americana, from Soel to Son Jarocho, from Roots to Rock and Hip-Hop, their show is a thrilling blend of instrumental and vocal music, and dancing in the Zapateado (Flamenco) tradition. Join us in enjoying this electrifying sound and infectious energy!
