After an extraordinary career at the University of Michigan, we’re gathering in-person and online to celebrate Professor Larry Seiford and all he has contributed to the Department of Industrial and Operations Engineering, the university, and the many students, colleagues, and friends whose lives he has touched.

Join us for an afternoon of stories, laughter, and memories as we look back on Larry’s remarkable career and celebrate the impact he has made over the years. We’ll share favorite memories, recognize his many accomplishments, and, of course, give Larry the good-natured roast he deserves!

Come raise a glass (of beer or a mocktail), share a story, and help us send Larry into retirement with the appreciation, affection, and laughter that he has earned over a remarkable career.

Info: The celebration will feature remarks from a selection of Larry’s colleagues, former students, and friends, who will share stories, memories, and reflections on his remarkable career and lasting impact on IOE.

And, of course, there will be plenty of opportunities for laughter—and perhaps a little good-natured roasting along the way!

Following the program, we’ll have time to continue the celebration, share memories, and raise a glass to Larry and his next chapter.
