Larry Lamb, our beloved character from Gavin and Stacey, portrayed Mick Shipman or Michael, when Pamela, played by Alison Steadman, was in a fit of anger. Now, at the festival, Larry returns to share glimpses of his life before fame. Hirings, Firings, and Other Life Catastrophes will shed light on the lesser-known aspects of Larry’s journey. After bidding farewell to school, Larry embarked on a journey in the oil industry, working in both Libya and Canada. His life, a tapestry of diverse experiences, continues to captivate our imagination. In the past, Larry graced our screens as Archie Mitchell in EastEnders marking 150 episodes. In the captivating journey of Who Do You Think You Are?, Larry unearthed a remarkable lineage—a lineage intricately woven with travelling menageries and lion tamers. Little did he know that this ancestral connection would infuse his life with a profound affinity and love for lions. Then, in 2016, he braved the jungle in I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Revealing Larry to be a good camp cook, fearlessly facing creepy crawlies and famously saving Scarlett Moffatt after she fell from her canoe. Scarlett later became Camp Queen.
