Bring your group or community organisation along for the adventure!
The Largs Viking Festival Opening Parade is a joyful, colourful celebration enjoyed by families of all ages — and we’d love community or church groups be it charities, clubs and family organisations to be part of it.
This is a wonderful chance to:
• Join a friendly, fun-filled parade alongside Scots & Viking warriors
• Share what makes your group special with the wider community
• Help create magical memories for children, parents and visitors alike.
Whether you sing, march, play music, wear costumes, or decorate a vehicle, every group adds something unique to this much loved family event.
� How to Get Involved
If your group would like to take part in the Opening Parade, please email your expression of interest to:

• Group Name / Charity
• Main Contact Name
• Email Address & Main Telephone Number
• What You’ll Be Doing in the Parade
(e.g. music, marching, themed costumes, vehicles)
• Approximate Numbers Taking Part
Adults / Children (under 16 / primary age)
• Details of appropriate marshals
A Little Extra Fun
To add to the excitement, a prize will be awarded to the best parade group or float, so feel free to be creative and have fun with your ideas!
� A Quick Note
To ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment, the festival is required to submit a formal Procession Notification for approval by the authorities and Police Scotland. Your help in providing clear and accurate information is very much appreciated.
The Festival team will be in touch with all groups to confirm participation and share next steps once your submission is reviewed.
