Large Herbivores in Britain
About this Event
The inaugral Large Herbivore Working Group conference will be a day packed full of talks focused on both wild and semi-wild herbivores.
The day will be split into three sessions:
Session 1: practical learnings on wild herbivores including bison and elk
Session 2: practical learnings on semi-wild herbivores and their role in rewilding and nature restoration
Session 3: the future of our landscapes and the role of herbivores within it
We will be welcoming speakers from across Britain as well as mainland Europe. This is an opportunity to learn from practical experiences and network with other practitioners in Britain.
There will also be an optional day 2 of visits to the Wilder Blean project, details TBC
