Join us on an artistic journey to create your own large-scale equestrian-themed painting. This workshop will delve into art history, format, theme, and personal reflections, all while tackling the challenge of working on a grand scale in a supportive and nurturing environment. If this workshop is of interest, you will want to plan ahead. Pre-Workshop Preparation
Prior to the workshop, students are invited to share their ideas and compositions. There will be an in-person session to review what each student intends to paint. Students create small mock ups on their own before the sessions.
Studio Time
Spend three days in the studio, where you’ll have the opportunity to create a large-scale painting. All materials provided: A limited color palette, canvas, support, instruction, and inspiration.
Post-Workshop Reflection
Access to a private Facebook group for reflecting on the experience and sharing your creative endeavors.
What to Bring
Your courage, desire to explore, and compassion for yourself and others in the studio space. Comfortable shoes, hydration, and enthusiasm.
