Please join us for our 6th Annual FMLBPD Laps For Literacy Braille Trail Hikeathon to raise funds for the MLBPD! We will meet on Sun., Oct. 5th at 4:00 PM for the Hikeathon at the All Sensory Trailhead across from the Nature Center parking lot in Patapsco Valley State Park Hilton Area in Catonsville. If you arrive after 4:05 PM, please meet us on the 0.1 mile All Sensory Loop Trail, featuring guide ropes along with braille/print signage describing the Park's ecology/indigenous wildlife; and please bring a picnic dinner to eat in the Park after we hike. Also, the Trail is in a natural wooded area with semi-rugged terrain, so please dress accordingly and consider wearing gloves when using the guide ropes. Additionally, please note that in the event of wildfire related code red air quality conditions on the day of the Hikeathon, we will hike in our homes individually instead of in-person at PVSP.Hope to see all of you on the Braille Trail to pledge money for the Library and to cheer on the Hikers!
