Lap of the Bay

Hi all, my sincere apologies please note the change of date. The lap of the bay will be November 21st, not November 14th.
The Lap of the Bay Is Back!
A fan-favourite ride with the Iron Horsemen MC is returning! The Lap of the Bay has become a popular day out over the years, and this time we’re aiming to make it bigger and better.
All riders and pillions are welcome. If you’d like to join us but don’t have a rider, get in touch—we may be able to connect you with someone who has a spare seat.
It’s a full day on the road, and the weather can vary, so please come prepared. Sunscreen is often essential, but wet-weather gear may be needed too. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced rider, you’re welcome. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy a group ride, and newer riders can chat with more experienced members and pick up tips along the way.
Please note that the route includes a range of roads, from freeways to back streets. Not every bike is suited to every type of trip, so please know your bike’s capabilities and limits.
The Ride
We’ll depart from the clubhouse at 10:00 am sharp and stop for lunch at a pub. Lunch is not included in the event price. Afterward, we’ll head to the ferry to cross the bay.
Once we disembark, riders can continue back to the clubhouse for a relaxed wind-down. The bar will be open, and some members will be sticking around to share stories and talk about the ride.
Costs
Rider and bike: $70
Pillion: $30
The event fee covers the ferry crossing and a small contribution to the club. Meals, snacks and drinks are at each person’s own expense.
As the event gets closer, I’ll do my best to share estimated prices for lunch and the ferry café. Please register your interest on the event page—having a better idea of numbers will help us plan and make the day as enjoyable as possible.
