Join Birch Tree and the LWVA Writers Group for their fifth annual Lansdowne Literary Festival! It will take place in the LWVA Clubhouse Auditorium from 1:00- 5:00 p.m. where authors will be talking about, selling, and signing their books.
While you're there, make sure to check out some of their cool writers' workshops while you're there! The Loudoun Public Library will also be present with information on their many writing programs and book clubs.
Schedule for the Day
* Doors open - 1 pm to Auditorium filled with you and your books, at tables around the room. Please bring any supporting decorations you need. All proceeds go to you.
* Workshop #1 - 2 pm - "Your Own Story - Writing & Picturing Your Memoir" - Tom Hennessey (leader)
* Workshop #2 - 2:30 pm - "Getting Your Book Published" - Kathleen Hughes (leader),
* Workshop #3 - 3:00 pm - "Writing Poetry" - Marla Carr and Bob Forte (leaders)
* Workshop #4 - 3:30 pm - "Writing a Thriller/Crime Novel" - Steve Winter and Jack Kelly (leaders)
* 4:00-5:00 pm - Exhibits continue
