Language Access 101

This professional development session focuses on the critical role of language access in promoting racial equity and inclusivity within the workplace. Participants will explore how language barriers can perpetuate racial inequities and learn strategies to dismantle these barriers by implementing effective language access practices. The workshop will cover the importance of culturally responsive communication, providing translation and interpretation services, and fostering a workplace environment where all employees, regardless of their language or background, feel respected and valued. By centering racial equity, this session will empower participants to create a more inclusive and just workplace for everyone.
