Langdon Love Wildlife Event

Kick off the February half-term with our outdoor family activities in the Community Garden at Langdon Nature Discovery Centre. 

Hunt for the nature that you love - birdwatch with binoculars, hunt for bugs, spot spring flowers, and more. Take action for wildlife by making a bird feeder to take home! 🕊️

This event is suitable for children aged 3 years and over, and adults do not require a ticket. Children to be accompanied by an adult at all times, please.

FAQs

📍Where do we meet? 

Meet in the Community Garden which is just opposite to the car park entrance.

🥾What should we wear? 

Most of our events are fully outdoors and you need to come dressed for the weather.  We recommend layers (top and bottom) which can get mucky.  Wellies (with thick socks) and waterproofs are a good shout if you have them. 

🌍Where are you based? 

We are located just off the A127 near Basildon.

🚗Is there parking? 

Yes. We have a large free car park.

🚇Can we get to you on public transport? 

Yes.  We are just under 2 miles walk from Laindon Station and under 1 mile walk from the nearest bus stop.

🚻Are there toilets? 

Yes. Our Langdon Nature Discovery Centre has toilets, shop and café serving hot and cold drinks, snacks, ice cream and light lunches.

🐕‍🦺Can we bring a dog? 

Assistance dogs are welcome at our events.
