Landscape Acrylic Painting Workshop

Using collage elements and acrylic paint, we will create a modern still life full of texture and interest.

You will leave with a 12x16 canvas panel and some new ideas. If you are looking to express your creativity in a new way, this is for you!

Instructor: Valerie Lamb-Steece

Valerie Lamb-Steece is an Artist living and working in Atlantic Beach Florida. Originally from Columbus Ohio, she and her husband moved for sunshine and being outdoors. She enjoys painting plein air landscapes but equally enjoys creating imaginary tropical pieces filled with creatures found in our area. Using imagery from life as well as from memory, her work is informed by place. You can find her at her studio in Atlantic Beach, drawing and playing in paint everyday.

I’ve been a teacher throughout my life, first working with my own children, teaching workshops to neighbors, then earning my teaching certificate k-12. I taught art at Crockett Elementary in Tennessee for many years.
