Land with Certainty Conference 2026

Join the Society of Land Referencers at Birmingham Town Hall for the third annual Land with Certainty Conference, a collaborative day of practical insight, professional discussion and industry networking.

The way major infrastructure, development and regeneration projects are planned and delivered is changing. At a time of significant planning reform, evolving expectations around landowner engagement and rapid advances in digital technology and AI, this year’s conference will explore what these changes mean for land referencing and how we can collectively shape the profession’s future.

Designed for land referencers at every stage of their careers, as well as project sponsors, clients and professionals who commission or rely upon land referencing services, this conference will give everyone an opportunity to contribute, learn and make valuable connections.

The programme will include expert presentations, a panel discussion and two interactive sessions exploring:

• Landowner engagement following planning and infrastructure reform

• Delivering best practice in a real-world project environment

Delegates will also hear the latest thinking on digital innovation, HM Land Registry, professional recognition and SoLR’s emerging technical standards.
