About this Event
Join Wild Rivers Conservancy, Audubon Upper Mississippi River, and The Acreage at Osceola for a walking tour highlighting local bird species and bird-friendly land stewardship practices. This tour will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of land stewardship practices in a variety of habitats and their significance in preserving native bird species.
During this tour, we will be visiting the Acreage at Osceola’s property to learn about native bird species and hear more about restoration initiatives undertaken on the property. Hear from Jacob Crawford with Audubon Upper Mississippi River about how to keep your land healthy and bird-friendly, and from the Acreage at Osceola on how they’ve been managing their land for wildlife.
Please come dressed for the weather and prepared to be walking outside - water, boots, bug spray/sunscreen and layers.
