How does it work?
Your host will check you in by text, and then you’ll receive a link to your virtual scavenger hunt. From there, the adventure begins! As you explore the Sacramento Zoo, you’ll take on wacky clues, animal-inspired challenges, creative photo missions, observation activities, and plenty of fun surprises. Your host will be there along the way to cheer you on, provide hints, and help guide the fun.

It’s a great way to experience the zoo with family and friends, celebrate a birthday or special occasion, enjoy a unique date, or simply turn an ordinary zoo visit into a memorable adventure.

Never enter restricted areas, climb barriers, approach or feed animals unless specifically permitted, or complete any challenge that appears unsafe. Any challenge may be skipped. If an injury, accident, medical issue, lost item, or other safety concern occurs, please contact Sacramento Zoo staff or management immediately for on-site assistance. This hunt is simply an add-on for extra fun—safety and venue rules always come first.
