CHEERS TO THE RED REVOLUTION AT XMAS!You are invited to Xmas drinks and a special showing of the classic Ken Loach film, LAND AND FREEDOM, about the Spanish Civil War in 1936.
David Carr, a young unemployed worker leaves Liverpool to volunteer with the International Brigades – joining the POUM militia to fight against fascism in Spain. This is a brilliant film which brings the revolutionary struggle to life and explores the political arguments which raged at the time.
How can we defeat fascism?
How could the revolution win?
