A veritable Christmas feast of half hour sets this month: to usher in the next phase in Berth’s evolution hosts Herbie and Ben will be joined by stalwarts The Dainty Tudor Duke, Andrew Myers, King Sunny Ade P, Ian Land, Crystal aka Voidstepping and Jordan Behnan.
As of the second Thursday in January we’ll be riding a wave of public enthusiasm to create a new space for live jazz performance in Hastings. There will still be people playing beautiful records in the White Rock Hotel basement but now these will be the sumptuously oiled flatbreads within which a delicious filling of instrumental virtuosity and raw spirit can be savoured. Watch the skies for details of our ambitious 2025 programme and in the meantime we’ll be sending 2024 on its way in the finest post-bop style.
