Taste seasonally-inspired food, meet local food producers and discover Lancaster’s bubbling local food and craft scene.
On Friday 12 June from 10:00-17:00 Lancaster’s market square will be bustling with local food producers, vegetable seedlings and flowers, community food projects, music and local craftspeople. Lancaster BID are celebrating Lancaster Day so we will have extra entertainment (with a historical theme) and you will be able to find out what else is going on in the city centre.
The Midsummer Market is the second of four seasonal markets coordinated by FoodFutures every year. The markets celebrate our surrounding environment and the diversity of produce the different seasons bring. The Midsummer Market celebrates the warm weather and the abundance of summer with local food, crafts and music.
There will also be the regular mend & repair stall with Sewing Cafe Lancaster and Lancaster Community Makerspace, so bring your mending projects.
