Print Crawl is a vibrant community arts event held in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This engaging all ages gathering celebrates the art of printing while aiming to involve and inform the local community about the craft. Set in the heart of Lancaster a city known for its rich history and artistic spirit the Print Crawl brings together artists, print enthusiasts and people of all ages for an immersive experience.

The Print Crawl is a short walk around Lancaster where each participant will build and unveil this year’s artisan poster. YOU MUST PURCHASE A BLANK POSTER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CRAWL! You can purchase a poster in advance and show your receipt to receive your poster the night of the crawl. If you purchase a t-shirt or tank top, you get a free poster to participate in the Crawl! Please note this is a rain or shine event. We will have clear sleeves to put your poster in to protect them as you walk around town.
You will need to pick up your poster at the designated registration table in Ewell Plaza (123 N Queen St). Registration will open at 4pm, but print shops will open at 5pm. Your poster will come with a program booklet that has the map in it to guide you to the print shops. Follow the map around downtown to each of the print shops to complete your poster. Stops include screen printing, letterpress printing, stamping, laser cutting and vinyl sticker graphics. The whole crawl is about 1 mile (one way) walking start to finish.
The event is set up as “pay-what-you-can” ranging from $5-$50 (buy your poster here) with the additional option of buying raffle tickets at FORCEpkg. The money generated from poster sales goes towards the event costs to ensure we are able to continue coordinating the Print Crawl each year. Raffle sales raise money for students at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design and Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology.
