The voice of Mental Health Advocacy in the workplace across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland returns this March with Special Guest Speaker Alice Evans, Head of Service at Lamp.

Lamp’s Head of Service Alice Evans will be talking to our guests about the charity’s new Workplace Mental Health Advocacy sessions.

These sessions aim to create supportive environments, reduce stigma, and promote open conversations about mental health in professional settings. This initiative addresses a critical need, as mental health issues significantly impact the workplace. In the UK, an estimated 15% of working-age adults were reported to have a mental disorder in 2019. Additionally, poor mental health costs UK employers between £42 billion to £45 billion annually due to factors like presenteeism, sickness absence, and staff turnover. By providing these advocacy sessions, Lamp not only supports individual employees but also contributes to creating healthier, more productive workplaces.

We would please ask that a minimum £10 donation is made to cover additional costs to the charity.
