Unlock New Worlds at Laman Con 2026
Saturday, November 14 from 10 AM-2 PM at William F. Laman Public Library, 2801 Orange St. Free to attend, as always.
Worlds of mystery, fantasy, horror, adventure, and art are waiting. Grab a quest sheet for our library-wide scavenger hunt, help solve the murder of Albert Normalman, craft a felt fairy wand, add to the community mural, and dance it out at a Silent Disco at noon.
There’s more for every age: a Fortnite tournament, archery basics with Arkansas Game and Fish, a green screen photo booth, hourly Pokemon crafts in the Lift, all-ages spooks aboard the Rover, and a quiet space in the Loft for zines and blackout poetry. Shop local at the vendor area in the Rotunda.
Cosplay is welcome. No weapons real or fake, shoes required, and costumes must provide adequate body coverage.
