Meet our friends from the Society for Creative Anachronism and watch a thrilling fighting demonstration! This demonstration will take place in the parking lot, weather permitting. Fun for all ages!
Why just learn about history when you can LIVE it? The Society for Creative Anachronism dives head-first into historical reenactment in an inclusive and fun environment. Arkansas's local chapter, The Barony of the Small Gray Bear, hosts a variety of events around the state and will join us all day at Laman Con. Find their booth from 10am to 1pm, then head outside for a exhilarating (and safe!) fighting demonstration.
Welcome Laman Con! In 2026, we’re Unlocking New Worlds, exploring realms of fantasy, mystery, westerns, music, and more. There’s something to explore for readers, watchers, and listeners of all ages, so join us on Saturday, November 14 from 10am to 2pm! Have questions or want to get involved? Email Lauren at [email protected].
