LAKW Munch (LA's most diverse munch)

LA Kinky Weirdos is a discord server that started during the quarantine that has since spawned into one of LA's most diverse BDSM munches. While the LA Kinky Weirdos Munch is a hub for some of LA's most diverse kinksters, it's also a great place to connect with inclusive and sex positive, queer folks in the greater Los Angeles area. Our munch is hosted by @SubmissiveRyn, who is a black transgender woman that started the munch in response to what felt like a lack of diversity in the greater LA BDSM community. Having hosted the munch for several years now, she's very happy to have seen the munch flourish into what it is. The munch is steadily attended and people come in waves. Some arrive early, many do not arrive until 8PM, even later. Come early for good parking and come with an open heart and mind. We are not really a cruising/swinging kinda vibe, but our community is very open minded, accepting and eager to connect. We want to foster a community of people that can help each other safely navigate through the Los Angeles BDSM scene. We are community focused and very open to highlighting and supporting the people trying to create safer and more inclusive spaces for BDSM in Los Angeles. We are also looking to work with people in the LA area who are invested in mutual aid and community care. Let's utilize our community for good if we can!

Rules

1. This is a vaccinated only event. We respect that rules around vaccinations have been lifted for public gatherings, but we want to protect those in our community who are more vulnerable to the virus. Out of respect for those people and our community, please only come to the event if you’ve been vaccinated.
2. You must be 18+ to attend this event.
3. Please keep your attire vanilla. We are a group of very fashionable folks, but we do not want to draw unwanted attention to our group. Please do not, for example, walk your submissive in on leash.
4. Respect the boundaries and consent of others. Just because this is a kink-positive space does not mean everyone in this space is comfortable with touch or the rapid assumption of familiarity. Do not touch, grope or in any way molest someone without their consent. Additionally, keep any that does happen to a minimum. This is still not a kink party and still a very public venue where children are occasionally present.
5. Alcohol Consumption is for people who are 21+ only. Our current venue is a restaurant and a bar, meaning people under the age of 18 are technically allowed at the venue. However, alcohol consumption is still illegal for those under the age of 21. We are in good standing with the venue and we do not want to risk that by allowing or covering underage drinking. If you are under the age of 21 and over the age of 18, you are allowed to come to our munch, but you will be asked to leave if we catch you consuming alcohol. Those who provide the alcohol will also be asked to leave as well. Providing and consuming alcohol illegally at this event is grounds for removal from our community. Please respect this rul
6. If you’ve been banned from our community, you are also banned from our events. While you do not need to be part of our server to attend this event, if you’ve been banned from our server, you are also banned from our in-person events and will be asked to leave. Generally speaking, if you’ve been banned from our server, you’ve done something particularly heinous or violated someone in some way. We do not want that energy around our in-person gatherings
