About this Event
A cafe listening experience with Seattle's favorite Haitian coffee bar. Espresso, matcha, music, and vibes in the heart of Pioneer Square.
In Haitian Creole, "lakou" literally means yard but the term represents the communal courtyard, a gathering place, the idea of home, often shared by generations of families, neighbors, and friends. LAKOU is Bonhomie Coffee's platform for bringing together bon moun (good people) around coffee and music.
In August, we're featuring a guest talk from Dr. Bertrhude Albert, sounds by local Haitian DJ King Z, and our full summer cafe menu, with plants and records for purchase inside Flora and Fauna (106 James St).
Come by and stay a while.
Bonhomie Coffee is proudly Black, Woman, and Queer owned.
