The three Indian maestros of Lakkshya bedazzle with solid interplay and fluent, criss-crossing lines. That means they’re the ideal partners for Naruto 3, featuring illustrious players from Dutch improvised music. Together they will give a unique contemporary perspective on Indian styles.
In its core, Lakkshya from Bangalore consists of three innovators of Indian music: KJ Diliip on violin, Ila Diliip on violin and vocals, and Sunaad Anoor on hybrid percussion. Under the motto ‘from roots to infinity’ they present their own vision on traditional Carantic music, while exploring new genres.
The three members of Naruto 3 have known each other for years. Viola player Oene van Geel, flautist Ned McGowan and guitarist Mart Tuinstra have regularly played on our stage. They’re known for their passion for and knowledge of Indian music, mixing it up with all kinds of styles. The kick-off of their trio was their January 2026 tour in India, where they teamed up with Lakkshya.
