Lake Williams Boardwalk and Nature Trail

This guided walk includes lovely water views along the floating boardwalk and the nature trail circling beautiful Lake Williams.

The half mile floating boardwalk connects to a 1-mile shoreline nature trail. The trail is relatively flat throughout. Learn about the geology, cultural and natural history, including the history of the ice industry and role of Lake Williams in the local water supply. There are interpretive trail signs along the entire trail .

Meet at the Lizotte Drive parking lot trailhead on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 9AM.. Please wear sturdy shoes as the nature trail includes uneven surfaces - bug repellant and water are also recommended. Dogs are not allowed on these trails because Lake Williams is a backup water supply.
