Golden Hour Guided Photo Walk – Lake Weatherford
Join us for a golden-hour guided photo walk at Lake Weatherford.
Experience the serene beauty of the lake as the sun sets over the surrounding wetlands. We’ll explore the rich flora and fauna from the floating boardwalk, with expert tips along the way to help you capture the perfect shot. Be sure to bring your telephoto lenses, migrating birds often soar in at dusk, offering dramatic opportunities for silhouette and flight photography.
What to Bring:
- Telephoto lens (600mm+ recommended for birds in flight)
- Standard lens (28–70mm for general scenes)
- Wide-angle lens (14–25mm for full sunset views)
- Spare batteries & extra memory cards
- Sturdy tripod (note: the boardwalk does move slightly)
- Trigger release for long exposures
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Water (no water available on-site)
