New this year, the Lake Placid Classic will offer a 5K, joining the long-standing half marathon and 10K events. All proceeds directly benefit youth programming in the region, as well as Adirondack Health’s Fit for Life and Medical Fitness Scholarship Fund. The scholarship fund makes wellness programming accessible to community members who may not otherwise be able to afford it.
The Waffle Cabin will once again be on site, serving up fresh waffles and warm drinks for runners, volunteers, and spectators.
