Ahoy, me hearties! Set your course for Fae Nectar Meadery this April 26th for a rollickin’ good time at the Lake Lure Shanty Festival – a one-day celebration of sea shanties, pirate revelry, and magical mead!

Doors open at 3:00 PM, when our legendary emcee Cap’n mOss kicks off the festivities with Pirate Bingo! Win salty treasures and get into the spirit before the music begins.

🎶 Live Performances:

• 4:00 PM – The enchanting and eclectic TC Costello opens the musical voyage
• 5:00 PM – Raise your tankards for Vagabonds and Sailors, bringing classic sea shanties and maritime melodies
• 6:30 PM & 8:00 PM – Our amazing house shanty band Nelson’s Blood brings the thunder with two epic sea shanty sets!

🎭 7:30 PM – Pirate Costume Contest:
Come dressed in your swashbuckling best for a chance at cash prizes and eternal glory!

🍽️ Food & Drink: Feast like a Celtic king with authentic fare from guest food truck The Celtic Monkey!
Enjoy Fae Nectar’s amazing honey wines, along with guest beers, wines, craft sodas, and more delightful beverages to wet your whistle.

Info: For over a decade , TC Costello has played toured extensively in Ireland, the UK, eastern Europe and the Iberian peninsula. Highlights include opening for Robert Plant's band at Boomtown Faire, his 2014 and 2017 tours of Germany and his tours of the UK and Ireland with The Brandy Thieves.

Info: Vagabonds and Sailors bring folk music to life with intoxicating acapella vocals, a sense of whimsy, a dash of mischief, and an abundance of heart. Blending sea shanties and sailing ballads with traditional music from Celtic and American folk traditions.
