A few friends are getting together on Lake Keowee to enjoy each other’s company and boats. Contrary to what it says below, there is no “Host”. The current plan is to launch our boats at the South Cove County Park in Seneca, SC, and gather at the beach. It is sort of a “meet and greet”, or the boating version of a car meet. You may chose to camp at the park’s campground, or sail to an island to sleep on your boat. (Camping ashore is not allowed, except at designated campgrounds.)
Each boat owner is responsible for themselves, their crew, and their boat. As the captain of your vessel, you assume all risk associated with being on the water. No official safety vessel will be provided for this event. It is assumed that all boats will be insured. PFDs are required by county law.
