Welcome to the Lake Houston Ladies Disc Golf Clinic, designed for beginners to learn basics like rules, etiquette, putting, and throwing techniques in a fun, casual setting. Meet new friends, get personalized tips, and enjoy the outdoors—perfect for women and girls of all ages looking to start a new hobby. Clinic Highlights & Goals:
Basics & Fundamentals: Learn proper throwing techniques (backhand/forehand), approach shots, and putting basics.
Rules & Etiquette: Understand course safety and basic disc golf rules.
Casual Environment: No pressure, just a friendly, welcoming, and safe atmosphere to learn at your own pace.
Community Building: Meet other women in the Lake Houston area interested in disc golf.
What to Bring:
Comfortable clothes and athletic shoes.
Water bottle.
Discs (if you have them; otherwise we will have used disc available).
This event is the beginning of a casual ladies league a couple of Wednesdays a month to start. First league will begin April 1 at a course near you.
