Calling all Water Guardians! Volunteer with us to clean Lake Horton on Saturday, May 23rd from 8 AM to noon.

We will meet at the West Boat Ramp (with the pavilion). Visitors will pass the entrance gates and turn right which will lead them to this parking lot.
Residents who have access to kayaks and canoes are encouraged to assist with the cleaning of the water reservoirs. Those without a kayak or canoe can pick up the trash along the banks of the lakes.
Interested participants can register for this event by emailing your name, adult T-shirt size, daytime phone number and contact email address to [email protected]
Important: We'll be ordering new 2026 volunteer t-shirts on April 24th so please let us know your adult T-shirt size by that date.
Each volunteer will be provided with a 2026 t-shirt, trash grabber, trash bags and bottled water. Please note that a liability waiver will be sent to all volunteers and MUST be completed to participate. We will have additional copies available to sign on the day of the event.
Remember to bring your waiver, life vest, sunscreen and a hat the day of the event. In the case of rain, all registered participants will be notified via email with a rescheduled time and date.
