Get ready for a brilliant day out at the Lake Hayes A&P Show, returning for its 110th year and packed with everything you love about this iconic community event. Set beside the beautiful shores of Lake Hayes, the show brings together rural tradition, local flavour, family fun, and all the energy of a true community celebration.This year’s theme, Paddock to Pantry, highlights the best of our local food scene. Explore the brand new Lake Hayes Larder, a foodie hub filled with artisan producers, tasting stalls, interactive activities, special guests, and live cooking demos. Kids are covered too with the hugely popular Queenstown Airport Kids Zone offering free, all day entertainment.
Expect all your favourite competitions, more than seventy trade stalls, equestrian and livestock action, live entertainment, and the much loved Hobby Horse event. Relax at the Pavilion Bar overlooking the arena or wander the grounds and soak up the atmosphere.
Sustainability is a core focus so bring your reusable cups, bottles, and containers, and take advantage of the free Park and Ride Shuttle from the Crown Pub & Beer Garden at Five Mile, running 9am to 5pm. Cyclists can enjoy a managed SH6 crossing and free bike parking near the rowing club.
