The Lake Havasu City Veterans Resource Team is proud to invite veterans, military families, and community supporters to STAND DOWN 2026—a day dedicated to connecting veterans with valuable resources, supportive services, and organizations committed to improving the lives of those who have served.
This annual event brings together local Veteran-focused agencies, nonprofit organizations, healthcare providers, service groups, and community partners under one roof to help veterans navigate challenges, discover opportunities, and strengthen their support network.
What You'll Find at STAND DOWN 2026
Veterans will have access to a wide range of resources and services, including:
• Housing assistance
• Employment opportunities
• Resume guidance
• VA benefits application assistance
• Health care screenings
• Vaccinations
• Food resources
• Wound care services
• Legal assistance
• Suicide awareness and prevention resources
• Stroke support
• Chronic pain support
• COPD support
• Clothing resources provided by DLA Military Surplus
• Complimentary coffee and donuts
Lunch will be provided by Lake Havasu Elks Lodge #2399.
