Lake Eustis Folk House Concert

The Work Release Program, sometimes known as Dan&Jan&Joel, comprised of Dan Gribbin, Jan Sheldon, and Joel Kelley. Dan is an established poet, songwriter, and performer in the folk tradition and has won awards for his songs. Sometimes called The Blues Man, he writes great lyrics and catchy tunes for many subjects and is noted for his songs about Florida birds. He has appeared at the Florida Folk Festival and other local events and is regarded as an accomplished performer. Jan Sheldon is an actress, director, and fantastic singer. She has a powerful, full-range voice and perfect timing in her songs. She and Joel performed together some years ago and have remained close friends and singing partners since. Joel Kelley is known for his 12-string prowess, driving rhythms, and finger-picking style. He has performed with several groups and as a solo artist for 30 years in Central Florida. The group has played al] all the major folk festivals in the state and regularly appear at Barberville and Willfest. They are quite familiar to the Trout Lake crowd and are appearing for their fifth or sixth time over the past decade. They are fun to watch and sing along with, and they have great energy.
Another fun evening of music for a small donation. Bring a dish for the potluck dinner at 7 pm; the concert will start around 7:30.
