Join our yearly Winter White Water trip to the Lake District from 5th February to 8th February. Once again we'll be based out of Ambleside YHA, and will be running trips (for adult members) with basic river skills.
There are a wide range of rivers to choose from, with grades to suit all abilities and experienced club paddlers will be on hand for river planning and safety.
In previous years, we've paddled the Leven, Lune, Kent, Duddon and others too - rivers will be chosen during the weekend, depending on levels and suitability for the group.
Arrival at the hostel on the Thursday evening is recommended, but you are very welcome to join us on the Friday, or even Saturday. People will be paddling, then heading home, on Sunday.
If 'non-river-paddling' club members wanted to come along and make their own plans regarding flat water trips, there are likely to be others doing the same - though this is likely to be on a peer paddle basis, which means that coaches will not be leading these trips.
