Join us for the Lake County, Ohio ARIDE Course on May 18th & 19th, 2026 - sharpen your skills and connect with fellow professionals.
Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE), 8 AM - 5 PM. Open only for Law Enforcement Officers and Prosecuting Attorneys. ARIDE is a two-day course that is being hosted by: Lake County Sheriff's Office and will take place at the Lake County Sheriff's Office Training Facility.
ARIDE is a two-day (16 hour) course that is designed to train law enforcement officers to observe, identify, and articulate the signs of impairment related to drugs and alcohol with the goal to reduce impaired-driving incidents and crashes which result in serious injuries and fatalities.
This course will be instructed by area Drug Recognition Experts (DREs).
Registration is required. There is NO COST to attend.
Requirements to attend this course:
- Certified law enforcement officer who has previously completed a certified SFST course -or-
- A prosecuting attorney located within the State of Ohio.
